Described by Glamour as a cross between Lauryn Hill and Jane Birkin, this London-born singer seems to already have lived six lives before opting for a solo career in music.

A quick stint in the fashion world as an escape from the music industry when she worked as a back up singer for Andrea Bocelli, Mary J Blige and Damon Albarn, ALA.NI returned to her one passion. Singing everything from folk and pop to opera, she has recently begun a residency at Manero's in Dalston where she will perform until mid April before popping across the Channel to play for French festival revellers at Banlieues Bleues.
